About us

Mission

Promoting cardiovascular health and enhancing the effectiveness of tumor management in oncology patients through improved early detection, prevention, treatment, and long-term follow-up of cardiovascular damage caused by anticancer therapies.

Goals

  • Raising awareness among healthcare professionals and the general population about cancer-associated cardiovascular diseases
  • Promoting the development and implementation of multidisciplinary cardio-oncology programs
  • Organizing professional educational events for physicians, developing cardio-oncology curricula, and providing specialized training
  • Coordinating and promoting scientific research on cardiotoxicity
  • Organizing scientific meetings focused on key issues in cardio-oncology
  • Fostering communication and collaboration with international professional societies and organizations
  • Encouraging the participation of Georgian physicians and researchers in international scientific meetings
  • Supporting the professional development of young doctors and scientists
  • Planning and implementing educational activities to enhance the competencies of secondary medical personnel involved in the care of oncology patients
